Le Comité Exécutif déterminera de temps à autre la composition du Sous-Comité Juridique, dont la majorité sera, dans la mesure du possible, composée de membres ayant des connaissances en matière juridique.

Le sous-comité juridique donne des conseils sur les questions constitutionnelles, juridiques et procédurales relatives aux opérations et aux fonctions du Forum ; 

Les fonctions du sous-comité juridique comprendront les éléments suivants :

1. conseiller le Comité exécutif sur les questions constitutionnelles, juridiques et procédurales relatives aux opérations et aux fonctions du Forum ;
2. examiner et faire rapport au Comité exécutif sur les pouvoirs des représentants des Parlements membres participant aux réunions de l'Assemblée plénière ; et
3. s'occuper de toute autre question juridique qui lui est soumise par le Comité exécutif ou l'Assemblée plénière.

Le quorum du sous-comité juridique est la majorité simple de ses membres. Dans le cas où un quorum n'a pas été atteint, le Président coopte d'autres membres du Comité Exécutif pour siéger au Sous-Comité par intérim, aux fins de traiter les affaires. Les décisions doivent être prises par consensus et en cas d'échec à parvenir à un consensus, ces décisions doivent être renvoyées au Comité Exécutif. Le sous-comité juridique sera assisté par un membre du personnel du secrétariat du SADC PF nommé par le secrétaire général.

COMPOSITION DU COMITÉ

Le sous-comité des finances est composé du trésorier qui en est le président et d'autres membres qui peuvent être élus par le comité exécutif. Le sous-comité des finances donne des avis sur les questions financières du Forum.

Le quorum du sous-comité des finances est la majorité de ses membres. Si le quorum n'est pas atteint, le président coopte d'autres membres du comité exécutif pour siéger au sous-comité par intérim, aux fins de la conduite des affaires. Les décisions doivent être prises par consensus et en cas d'échec à parvenir à un consensus, ces décisions doivent être renvoyées au Comité Exécutif.

Le Comité sera assisté par un membre du personnel du Secrétariat du SADC PF nommé par le Secrétaire général.

COMPOSITION DU COMITÉ

Composition and Functions of the RWPC

1. The Regional Women’s Parliamentary Caucus (RWPC) shall comprise Chairpersons of National Women’s Parliamentary Caucuses and all female Representatives of the Forum.
2. The Chairperson of RWPC shall be an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee of the Forum.
3. The Chairperson and Vice- Chairperson of the RWPC shall be elected from among the Chairpersons of the National Women’s Parliamentary Caucuses and shall adhere to the principle of rotation.
4. The RWPC shall submit its report to the Executive Committee for noting.
5. The RWPC shall report directly to the Plenary Assembly.

The functions of the RWPC shall include the following:

1. lobbying and advocacy on equal and equitable representation of women in political and decision-making positions in SADC Member States in line with the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development and other continental and international instruments;
2. creating a platform for women Parliamentarians to mobilise on women’s agenda for equality, equity and effective representation of women in Parliament and political parties;
3. capacity development for women Parliamentarians for effective participation and performance; and
4. creating avenues for knowledge sharing by women Parliamentarians at Regional level.

Reporting of the RPMLOC

1. The RPMLOC, constituted in accordance with Article 16 of the Constitution, shall submit its report to the Executive Committee for noting.
2. The RPMLOC shall report directly to the Plenary Assembly.

COMMITTEE COMPOSITION

Gender Equality, Women Advancement, and Youth Development deals with issues of gender equality, women advancement, and empowerment as well as youth development and children.

COMMITTEE COMPOSITION

Human and Social Development and Special Programmes deals with human and social development issues pertaining to health and combating illicit drug trafficking, HIV/AIDS, human resource development, education, professional training, employment and labour, culture and sport, science and technology and humanitarian issues as well as other issues to be determined accordingly;

COMMITTEE COMPOSITION

The Food, Agriculture Natural Resources and Infrastructure Committee deals with matters related to agriculture, fisheries, forestry and wildlife, water and environment, energy, transport, tourism, ICTs, meteorology, food security and natural resources;
